If you're not skilled in the soft-boiled egg department, I found something online that said to bring the water to a boil, reduce boil down - still boiling but not rolling, I guess? - then gently put your eggs in the water for 7 minutes. Take the eggs off, drain the water and replace with ice cubes and cold water. Peel and serve when ready:) It works for me anyway.
